Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival & Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Your guide meets you at Entebbe International Airport or your Kampala hotel with a welcome bouquet and transfers you southwest through the rolling hills of Kigezi. As you descend to the crater-lake basin, the first view of Lake Bunyonyi—dotted with 29 tranquil islands—takes your breath away. Check in to your private lakeside cottage, enjoy a chilled welcome drink on your deck, and watch the sun sink behind the hills before a romantic dinner for two.

Day 2: Lake Bunyonyi — Kayak, Islands & Sundowner

Spend the full day exploring Africa's second-deepest lake at your own pace. A guided morning kayak takes you to Bwama Island (home to a historic leper colony-turned-school) and peaceful Punishment Island, steeped in legend.
