Tour Overview
Where better to start a new life together than at the source of the world's longest river? This four-day romantic escape takes you to Murchison Falls National Park—perhaps Uganda's most dramatic landscape—where the Victoria Nile forces its entire volume through a seven-metre rock cleft, sending a thunderous plume into the air. Combine thrilling game drives across vast savannah plains (lion, elephant, giraffe, and hippo country), a private sunset boat cruise to the base of the falls, and a romantic riverside lodge stay for a honeymoon that is equal parts adventure and intimacy.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Entebbe to Murchison Falls National Park
Depart Entebbe and drive north through Kampala and the Luweero Triangle to Murchison Falls National Park—Uganda's largest protected area. Stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary en route for a guided rhino tracking walk, the only place in Uganda where white rhinos roam free. Continue to your riverside lodge, arriving in time for a sundowner cocktail on the Nile terrace as hippos grunt in the shallows below.
Day 2: North Bank Game Drive & Evening at the Falls
An early morning game drive on the North Bank reveals astonishing concentrations of wildlife: Rothschild's giraffes stretching for acacia branches, elephants ambling in family herds, lions dozing under shade trees, and the graceful Jackson's hartebeest. In the afternoon, walk the short trail to the top of Murchison Falls—where the entire force of the Nile squeezes through a seven-metre gap in a thunderous, mist-filled spectacle. Watch the sunset paint the gorge pink from the viewing point above.
Day 3: Sunset Nile Boat Cruise & Nile Delta Birding
The morning belongs to you: sleep in, breakfast on your deck, or join an optional birding walk. In the early afternoon, board your private boat for the signature cruise upstream to the base of Murchison Falls. Hippos swarm the shallows, Nile crocodiles bask on the banks, and elephants wade in. As the day cools, toast the falls with a glass of something chilled as the spray catches the golden light. Later opt for the Nile Delta excursion to spot the prehistoric shoebill stork in its papyrus habitat.
Day 4: Morning Game Drive & Return to Entebbe
One final morning game drive to catch the dawn light on the plains and say farewell to the animals that have shared your honeymoon. After brunch at the lodge, begin the scenic drive back south to Entebbe, arriving by early evening. Your guide drops you at your hotel or the airport, and you depart Uganda carrying memories as powerful as the river that flows through it.
