Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Kampala to Jinja & White-Water Rafting
Depart Kampala after breakfast and drive east to Jinja (approximately 2 hours). Upon arrival, head straight to the rafting launch point for a full-day white-water rafting experience on the Nile. Navigate through a series of exhilarating Grade 3 to 5 rapids—including the legendary "Bujagali Falls" and "The Bad Place"—interspersed with calm stretches perfect for swimming and cliff jumping. Lunch is served riverside. After rafting, transfer to your riverside camp or lodge, freshen up, and enjoy a sunset boat cruise to the Source of the Nile. End the evening with a bonfire, barbecue, and stargazing.
Day 2: Bungee Jump, Exploration & Return
Start the morning with the ultimate adrenaline rush—a 44-metre bungee jump over the Nile (optional but highly recommended). After the jump, visit the Source of the Nile monument and gardens for a more relaxed perspective on this historic site. Browse the local craft markets for handmade souvenirs. Enjoy lunch at a riverside restaurant before the scenic drive back to Kampala, arriving by late afternoon with an incredible collection of stories and GoPro footage.
